3 Easy Steps for finding
IMG-Friendly Residency Programs
Here's the easy way to find residency programs that offer VISAs and that have taken IMG's:
1. Go to: FREIDA Residency Search
2. Type in the specialty that you are looking for in the “Search by the specialty” box
- Some specialties tend to have a higher number of IMG's then others. Here are the Most Popular Specialties for IMGs
3. Then use the Filter Tabs located below the search box to look for IMG friendly programs:
- Under the “Application info” tab you can choose programs that offer H1-b or J-1 Visas if you need them.
- Under “ Program Profile” tab you can choose the % of IMG residents at the program!!! If the program has taken IMGs in the past they will most likely continue to take IMG's. Also the higher the percentage of IMG's at the program the more spots there are at that program for IMG's.
