Here's some interesting data about the probability of an IMG matching in their preferred specialty based on the number of exam attempts!

These charts show the importance of successfully completing the board exams on the first attempt! Make sure you are fully prepared before sitting for the exam!!!
Also notice that students who required many attempts still had a chance(albeit small) to match!
